A: Test areas:
1. Choose areas which are to be tested.
2. Make 3 test areas, each of 3 x 3 feet (see photo).
3. 200 g Golf Algin A – N – S to be spread evenly, one product in each test area.
4. Irrigate well and keep the test areas moist.

Mark the location of the test areas and the date of application.
When the test areas show good growth (normally after 8 to 14 days) note:

Give your evaluation of the quality in the different test areas on a scale from 0 to 9. 0 being the lowest score, 9 the highest.
If there is no reaction in a test area, note this as 0. No reaction is also important information.
NB! The test areas only represent a part of the preliminary study we carry out in order to determine which product is the best for your sports field.
B: Soil- water- and sand samples and other relevant information:
1. Extract a soil sample approx. 3 x 3 inches and 10 inches deep. Be very careful when taking the sample in order to prevent the various soil layers to be mixed. Place the sample(s) in a plastic bag or container and tape well in order to prevent the soil layers to be mixed during the transport. Mark the sample(s) with date, location and company name/contact person.
2. At the same time send 1 pound of the topdressing sand (if applicable) and enclose a sand certificate if available.
3. Irrigation water: Rinse a strong plastic bottle in the irrigation water and send us approx. ½ litre
4. If you have soil analysis and fertilizing program information available, please also enclose this information.
